Sometimes, the fear consumes
the regrets seep in
and your heart descends into obscurity
You feel like nothing's going to be alright
Like the will to smile is no longer in play
Your heart in heavy in your chest
and the tears are flowing freely
The time to look around has come
kindness can surround you
friendship can surround you
Love is all around
And light comes back into your life
The fear disapates
the regrets no longer plague you
Your will to smile is returned
and you leave your footprints in the sand
As you move forward
with that smile on your face
